Overview

Wei

Cao Wei, as it is known by historians, was a feudal Chinese state founded by Cao Cao under Emperor Xian. Initially a dukedom, Cao Cao's title was eventually elevated to king, thus turning Wei into a kingdom. At its greatest extent, Wei covered most of Northern China and stretching into the Korean peninsula. Notably, Wei under Cao Cao was the antagonist faction during the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, one of the most famous historical tales in Chinese history.
