Overview[]
Champa[]
Champa, situated along the coastal regions of present-day Vietnam, flourished as an ancient kingdom from the 2nd to the 17th century CE. Its legacy is woven with threads of maritime trade, cultural exchange, and artistic achievements. The Cham people, influenced by both Indian and Malayo-Polynesian cultures, established Champa as a decentralized country composed of several small states. These states, including Amaravati, Vijaya, Kauthara, and Panduranga, thrived in coastal enclaves. Champa’s powerful fleet facilitated both commerce and piracy, leaving an indelible mark on the region’s history. Despite facing challenges from neighboring empires, Champa’s temples, palaces, and vibrant culture endure as a captivating chapter in Southeast Asia’s past.
Po Nagar[]
Born in the Dai An Mountains of Khánh Hòa Province, Po Nagar was said to emerge from the clouds of the sky and the foam of the sea. Her physical form materialized within a piece of eaglewood, which floated gracefully on the ocean waves. She was more than mortal—a goddess who embodied the nurturing forces of nature. The aroma of rice clung to her presence, and the Chams revered her as the guardian of plants, trees, and earthly blessings. Guided by unseen spirits, Po Nagar embarked on a remarkable voyage. She drifted across the sea on a fragment of sandalwood, carried by tides and destiny. Her journey led her to distant shores, where she encountered the splendor of China—a land of emperors, palaces, and ancient traditions. In China, Po Nagar married a Chinese crown prince, the son of the Emperor. Their union bore witness to the merging of cultures and bloodlines. Two children graced their union, bridging the gap between Champa and the Middle Kingdom. The sands of fate had swept her from peasant origins to the heart of royalty. With her family, Po Nagar returned to Champa, where she assumed her rightful place as the first queen. Her wisdom, compassion, and mystical connection to the land shaped the destiny of her people. The Cham state, founded by her vision and courage, flourished under her reign. She nurtured her subjects, guided their rituals, and ensured prosperity.
Dawn of Man[]

Po Nagar, the venerable sanctuary that stands as a sentinel upon the shores of our ancient realm, beckons us to gather. As the first rays of the sun kiss the sacred stones, let us weave a tale—a chronicle of epochs, a song of primordial tides. @hen the cosmic loom spun threads of destiny, Po Nagar emerged—a testament to our devotion, our yearning for the divine. The gods whispered secrets into the ears of our priestesses, and they etched their visions upon these hallowed walls.
People of Champa, let us raise our voices—a hymn of ages, a prayer for continuity. Let us rule the land and waves as our people have done since time immemorial. Let us build a civilization that can stand the test of time.
