America

The United States of America is a world "super-power" (which more or less means that it possesses weapons capable of destroying everything on the planet). A relatively young civilization, the United States formed in the 18th century, nearly self-destructed in the 19th century, and became the most powerful and dominant military, technological, cultural and economical civilization in the 20th. One can hardly guess what will happen to it in the 21st.

Joe Biden

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is the 46th president of the United States. Ideologically a moderate member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 under President Barack Obama and represented Delaware in the United States Senate from 1973 to 2009. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden moved with his family to Delaware in 1953. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972. Biden ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and 2008. Taking office at age 78, Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history, the first to have a female vice president, and the first from Delaware. In his first term, Biden signed a bipartisan infrastructure bill, as well as a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus package in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its related recession, the Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS and Science Act, restored America's membership in the Paris Agreement. On the foreign policy front, he oversaw the complete withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan that ended the war in Afghanistan, and responded to the Russian invasion of Ukraine by imposing sanctions on Russia and authorizing civilian and military aid to Ukraine as well as supporting Israel during the 2023 Israel-Hamas war.

You have stood with Ukraine and democracy throughout the world, helping it fight the good fight by supplying it with defence materiel and sanctioning the autocratic aggressor. You did that!

So listen up Amtrak Joe, you still have Promises to Keep. The world still needs an experienced hand like yours to guide it in the most uncertain of times. Stand for the rights of democratic nations across the world, and build alliances against the growing might of those who would put you back in chains. Ok smart guy! Let's see YOU take a crack at it! Will you defend the democratic world from the horrors of autocracy and dictatorship? Can you build a civilization that can stand the test of time?"
